Why we travel

Growing up as an Army brat in Germany, I learned early that travel is about so much more than seeing beautiful places. It's about experiencing different cultures, stepping outside your comfort zone, and creating memories that stay with you long after you've returned home.

That love of adventure followed me into adulthood, where I was lucky enough to meet my boyfriend-turned-husband, Adam, who shared my passion for exploring the world. Together, we spent years chasing adventures, from bustling cities to quiet beaches, collecting stories and memories along the way.

When our son was born, we knew we didn't want our adventures to end. Instead, we simply learned to travel differently.

One piece of advice from our pediatrician has stayed with us ever since: don't center your world around your child - invite them into it.

And that’s exactly how we've approached travel. We've brought our son along for the ride, sharing the places we love, embracing the inevitable chaos, and discovering that some of our most meaningful adventures have been the ones we've experienced together.

Because we believe adventure doesn't end when kids arrive. It simply becomes even better when shared.
